Liverpool will not bump into a busy summer shopping after having big deals last season that saw Alisson, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri Virgil van Dijk joined the Reds.
The recently crowned European champions are focused more on the players they already have rather than splashing the cash on megastars who could upset the balance of the squad.
Boss Jurgen Klopp has a handful of good young players to join the squad during pre-season tour, including the recently signed Dutch centre-back Sepp van den Berg.
Others are Rhian Brewster, Ki-Jana Hoever, Sepp van den Berg,Adam Lewis,Paul Glatzel
- Rhian Brewster
Brewster was an unused substitute during the Reds win over Barcelona and Tottenham in the Champions League, the 19-year-old forward was treated like a first-team player last season, and it will be fascinating to see him in this summer.
2. Ki-Jana Hoever
The young Dutchman played a senior game for the Reds, during the FA Cup third round clash at Wolves in January at the age of 16 and is said to feature for another first-team game.
3. Sepp van den Berg
Berg is Liverpool new signing, joining from PEC Zwolle this week.
The 17-year-old may have to wait a bit to experience first-team action, however having beaten off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich for his signature, the Reds might well have promised him some game-time before the end of the campaign.
4. Adam Lewis
The 19-year-old signed a new long-term deal in February and is expected to fill up space left by Alberto Moreno as a backup left-back to Andy Robertson.
5. Paul Glatzel
Glatzel 18, was born in Liverpool to German parents, he has impressed during the FA Youth Cup success earning comparisons with Roberto Firmino and Dirk Kuyt due for hard work.
