Brazil coach, Tite responds to Messi after Copa win

TiteBrazil coach, Tite, has urged Argentina captain, Lionel Messi to always accept defeat when beaten following the Argentine’s claims that Copa America is set up for the host nation after he was sent off during their third-place playoff against Chile. 

Speaking after Brazil defeated Peru 3-1 in the Copa final,Tite said;

”The one I treated as extraordinary, as extraterrestrial, needs to have more respect and accept when he is beaten.

”We were harmed [by referees] in several games. We played fair against Argentina the whole time.

”I am being honest. He put huge pressure [on] because of his reputation,” he said.

Though not happy with Messi’s conduct, Tite however accepted that the 32-year-old did not deserve a sending off.

”He was expelled in an unfair way. It was Medel.

”For him, it was a yellow card, at max,” he added.
