Arsenal’s star,Mohammed Elneny will join Bordeaux in a cut-price transfer which will see the midfielder forced to take a wage pay-cut.
The 26-year-old failed to impress since joining on £7million fee from Basel in January 2016 making just five Premier League starts for Unai Emery.
He was put up for sale earlier this year and has now been subject of an approach from Bordeaux, according to The Times.
The Egypt international was offered to Crystal Palace and Fulham last summer but his £55,000-per-week wages proved too much of a stumbling block.
Elneny would be likely have to take a pay cut to join the French side should he want to leave the Emirates in search of first-team football.
Bordeaux would be better for him to have games time denied since Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira arrived Emirate Stadium as well reunite with his former Basel coach Paulo Sousa.
