Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy have reportedly placed a £130m price-tag on Christian Eriksen earlier this summer, but Real value the Danish playmaker between £60m and £70m,according to The Telegraph.
He had earlier admitted seeking a new challenge this summer, however,no official bids have been made for him, despite reported interest from Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester United.
Eriksen is expected expected to return to Tottenham for training later this week as Spurs fly out to Asia for a pre-season tour next Wednesday.
While some spurs players are already back to training, others including Harry Kane, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertongen are not due back until this Thursday or Friday.
The Telegraph report that Eriksen is in limbo while Paul Pogba’s future waits to be resolved. Pogba, 26, wants to leave Old Trafford and it is said that both Real and Juventus view him as their No 1 target ahead of Eriksen.
Eriksen will face all three of the clubs who have courted him during a busy pre-season schedule. Mauricio Pochettino’s globe-trotting side take on Juventus in Singapore, before clashing with United in Shanghai and then meeting Real in the Audi Cup in Munich.
The 27-year-old is in the final year of his contract with Spurs, who will be desperate for him to sign a new deal if he doesn’t leave before August’s transfer deadline.
