Man United kicks off pre-season with 2-0 win over Perth Glory

Perth Glory Manchester United have kicked off their pre-season friendlies in a winning way after defeating Perth Glory 2-0 at Optus stadium.

United new recruit, Daniel James and Tahith Chong started the friendly with both youngsters making a good impact in the 45 minutes they had on the pitch.

Ole Gunnar shortly fielded a completely new XI, bringing on Paul Pogba, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Marcus Rashford.

Rashford coming on, broke the deadlock 15 minutes into the second half after some good pressure allowed the striker to spin his man and bury a shot in the far corner to give United a deserved lead.

After coming on for Luke Shaw, James Garner then doubled United’s lead with his second touch by scoring from outside the box to wrap up the win.
