Barcelona bound forward,Neymar is reportedly having €35m tax evasion charge in Spain after a series of investigations had been confirmed.
The Treasury has concluded that the Brazilian forward had irregularities in his statements for his transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, as well as with his renewal bonus which was agreed with Barcelona.
The 27-year-old now risk having his properties seized and his legal case would end up in court if he does not pay up the said amount.
His possible return to the Camp Nou now becomes more complicated as he could repeat the same situation as at when Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo had.
Report claims that PSG delivered the player’s contract to the Treasury but with figures crossed out which has prompted a request for all the documents and contracts from the court that is dealing with Neymar’s case against Barcelona, where he argues that he is owed money as part of his bonus payment before leaving for Paris.
The Brazilian Treasury has seized 36 properties for an amount of approximately €16m as they investigate his move from Santos to Barcelona, with the belief that he evaded taxes of around €40m.
