Manchester United have agreed to pay £80m transfer fee to Leicester City for signing of Harry Maguire, according to Sun.
The 26-year-old have since been linked with a move to Manchester United and City and both clubs have seen £70m bids rejected.
But Sun now reports that United have beaten their local rivals to complete a move for the England international after agreeing a £80m transfer with the Foxes.
The former Hull City man will become the most expensive defender in history, with the total sum expected to surpass the £75m that Liverpool payed for Virgil van Dijk last year when the deal is done.
United will pay Leicester £60m up front, with the remainder of the sum coming in add-ons.
The report also claimed that Maguire will undergo his medical with the Premier League giants on Monday and is now set to fly up to Manchester.
