Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach, Nuno Espirito Santo has said Rui Patricio will be available as Wolves visits Chelsea on Sunday for their Premier League encounter.
John Ruddy has been in charge since during 2-0 victory over Cardiff City last time out to give him game-time before next week’s FA Cup quarter-final with Manchester United.
But Portugal international Rui Patricio, who arrived at Molineux last summer, will start the clash at Stamford Bridge as he aims to keep his seventh clean sheet in the league this season.
Nuno confirmed the change in keeper at a press conference saying
”It was very clear.
”The decision was made and I was very clear in my intention.
”I was pleased because John performed very well.
”John was very confident and he was very stable, which is what we were looking for.
”Now we play Chelsea, we focus on this game.
” Wolves will be without defender Ryan Bennett, who begins a two-match ban, meaning Leander Dendoncker could drop from midfield into the heart of defence.
