British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe ready to buy Chelsea.
Metro Uk reports Sir Jim Ratcliffe has already held several take-over talks with Roman Abramovich demanding huge fee.
Ratcliffe made his fortune by founding petrochemicals company Ineos is thought to have a net wealth of £21b and he has already made his mark on the sporting scene by agreeing to purchase Team Sky.
Ratcliffe is the British richest man and is taking much effort to replace Roman Abramovich as the club’s owner.
Although he has been a Manchester United fan, Ratcliffe has attended regular games at Stamford Bridge for many years while running his Swiss football outfit Lausanne-Sport.
However, with Abramovich withdrawing plans to rebuild Stamford Bridge due to problems with his visa,a sale to Ratcliffe is some way off as he demand £2.5bn for transfer of ownership deal.
