Arsenal boss, Unai Emery has ruled out idea that Arsenal might sell one of their prized assets, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to raise funds for further shopping.
With the 30-year-old still having two years to his contract,it’s suggested this could be the time to cash in on him if Manchester United continues to stick.
Jens Lehmann fuelled the fire this week by suggesting Aubameyang would be replaceable if he was allowed to leave for Old Trafford.
Emery insisted that is not part of his plans.
”Selling Aubameyang is not really in our mind”.
”Not really, we are very happy with Aubameyang and we don’t want to sell him” Emery insisted on looking forward to make the most of his versatility this season.
Last season golden boot joint winner, Aubameyang continued his top form when Arsenal clashed with Real Madrid on Tuesday night, linking up a brilliant with strike partner Alexandre Lacazette.
”They [Lacazette and Aubameyang] complement each other very well. They can play both together. Sometimes we are playing one striker or two strikers and another moment with one winger on one side and one winger on the other side.
”We have a very big possibility with different options with Aubameyang because he can play like a lone striker, like a striker in a two and can play on the right wing and the left wing.
”But, above all, we want to be very, very aggressive in the attacking third and also with moving forward to score with him. With Aubameyang we can take different options with him and that is very rich for us.’
