Transfer: Leaked Video showing Pepe in Arsenal home kit

Arsenal bound Lille attacker, Nicolas Pepe has been seen modelling the club’s home kit in a leaked video the deal looks as good as done.

The Gunners are to complete the £72m deal after the 24 did a medical on Tuesday at the club’s training.

His transfer now appears to be a reality, with the Ivory Coast international posing for photos in the footage, which was leaked on social media on Tuesday night.

The Gunners reportedly only had a £40m transfer budget this summer, but they have already forked out £27m for highly-rated defender William Saliba, £6m on Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli and a whopping £15m to bring Dani Ceballos to the club on a season-long loan from Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Unai Emery remains in the hunt to sign Celtic’s Kieran Tierney for around £25m.

However, Parkhead chiefs are believed to want closer to £30m for the Scotland international.

Tierney’s former Bhoys team-mate, Virgil van Dijk, has backed the 22-year-old full-back to thrive in the Premier League should he make the move before the August 8 deadline.

“It is not an easy step to make and you have to play well to do it, but he has the qualities,” the Liverpool defender told the Daily Record.

“Kieran made his debut against Dundee when I was at Celtic. I scored a free-kick up there and then he came on and helped us get the win.

“You could tell he was a good player who would do well.”
