According to the release, all rounds apart from the semi-finals will consist of single knockout games instead of two-legged ties.
The tournament will kick off, under its new format, on November 13, 2019 and the final will be on April 18, 2020.
Preliminary qualifying round: November 13, 2019.
First round: January 12, 2020.
Round of 32: January 22, 2020.
Round of 16: January 29, 2020.
Quarter-finals: February 5, 2020.
Semi-finals: February 12 and March 4, 2020.
Final: April 18, 2020, at a venue that will be decided by a draw.
