Arsenal ace, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has urged the club to complete Nicolas Pepe’s signing as soon as possible as he would be pleased to play alongside of Lille’s winger.
The Gunners have agreed a £72m fee for the winger which will surpass Auba as the club’s record signing.
And the Gabon International is relishing the prospect of playing with the Ivory Coast International.
Speaking to beIN SPORTS, Auba said: ‘When there are great players like that who are close to signing with a great club like Arsenal. It’s very pleasant to have a player like that.
‘I hope that he signs quickly and that it gets done.’
Last season Pepe scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in 38 Ligue 1 appearances for Lille.
Possessing pace and flair in abundance, Pepe, who has already been seen in an Arsenal shirt in leaked photos, is set to fill a significant void in the Arsenal squad.
