COZA: Pastor Obafemi Banigbe resigns as COZA board of trustees member Over Alleged Rape



A board individual from the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Obafemi Banigbe has resigned.

This is coming couple of weeks after Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo ventured down as Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) over claims of assault brought against him by Busola Dakolo.

Pastor Banigbe unveiled his resignation In a letter routed to Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo and board of trustees dated July nineteenth.

Obafemi Banigbe said he was never again keen on being an individual from the COZA Board of Trustees, in this way he offered his resignation.

On why he resigned, Banigbe expressed “I thus render my resignation as an enrolled individual from the board of trustees for Commonwealth of Zion Assembly, COZA with quick impact and for individual reasons.

“I have not had the option to work as a board part, incorporating taking an interest in any basic leadership or administration gatherings concentrated on issues designing to the prosperity of the congregation.”
