Mourinho expresses confident on De Gea deal, says Man Utd goalkeeper will remain at Old Trafford



Manchester Boss,Jose Mourinho remains confident that David de Gea will renew his contract at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are in danger of seeing a key performer head towards the end of his current deal.

De Gea’s term will expire summer 2019, but still has a 12-month option in agreement  if required gathered.

United hoping clause will not need to be activated, with a long-term extension considered to be a top priority.

Mourinho is optimistic when in media, after seeing De Gea produce crucial stops in a 1-0 victory over Young Boys.

“He’s the best goalkeeper in the world and if our ambitions are to be a big winning club, we need the best goalkeeper  and players’’ Mourinho added.
