The Ogun State Police Command on Saturday said it rescued one of the five Pastors taken by presumed Fulani herders.

The Command, in an announcement by the Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said one of the victims, Deaconess Ibelegbo Chidinma, was rescued safe.

He guaranteed that the remaining four abductees would be rescued from the criminals’ cave free from any danger.

The announcement peruses, “The Ogun State Police Command has rescued Mrs Ibelegbo Chidinma the main woman among those stole on Thursday safe.

“The woman who is a Deaconess of The Redeemed Christian Church of God recaptured her opportunity in the early hour of today third of August 2019, and she is at present at the command’s central command in Abeokuta where course of action is being made to take her to the Redemption Camp.

SPORTYWAP had revealed that the General Overseer of the RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, declared the snatching of the ministers on Friday at the Redeemed Camp along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Adeboye, while charging the assembly to petition God for the arrival of the abductees, said the snatching occurred on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode hub.

He was cited as saying, “As a dad, how would you figure I should feel to hear that five of my youngsters have been kidnapped while on their approach to go to the Ministers Conference?” he inquired.
