Five people between the ages of 20 and 35 have been convicted in Anambra State for supposedly collaborating and stealing 2009/2010  model  Toyota Camry at gunpoint

A statement by the spokesperson of Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed, stated that the men snatched the car at gunpoint in Onitsha from one Nzube Udegbu on Sunday.

He said, “On the 5/8/2019 at 03:30am, following intelligence report, Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) arrested at Ojoto in Idemili South LGA of Anambra State, five suspects for stealing a Toyota Camry car.

“Suspects conspired and snatched a Toyota Camry 2009/2010 model at gunpoint in Onitsha from one Nzube Udegbu on the 4/8/2019.

In the meantime, the snatched car has been retrieved in their ownership and the case is being investigated after which suspects would be prosecuted for prosecution.”

Haruna in the statement identified the suspects as, “Emmanuel Amaechi ‘m’ aged 35years, Innocent Onyedikachi ‘m’ aged 29 years, Obinna James ‘m’ aged 20 years, Chukwuma Edeh ‘m’ aged 22 years and Tochukwu Owor ‘m’ aged 27 years respectively.”
