Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are back in the PSG starting XI after missing out at the weekend through injury.
They are two of four changes made by Thomas Tuchel, with Thilo Kehrer and Juan Bernat also coming into the XI in place of Thomas Meunier, Adrien Rabiot, Julian Draxler and Moussa Diaby.
Kylian Mbappe says PSG will need things to go in their favour if they are to fulfil their dream of winning the Champions League.
“We have struggled a bit so far, but we are still in the running and we have our fate in our own hands,” Mbappe said. “I think that in order to win a competition you need things to click into place.
“We are not missing much. It is not much but at the same time it is a lot, because in top-level football it is the little details that are the most important.”
Meanwhile Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was highly amused by the ‘erotic’ tones of the French translator in his earpiece at his press conference ahead of today’s game against Paris Saint-Germain.
He said to have enjoyed preparing his Liverpool side for the many threats posed by Paris Saint-Germain.
The Liverpool boss called on his boys to play ugly for a win.
