Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku’s Inter move is nearing completion after the Serie A giants submitted another another bid.
United had last month rejected £54m bid for Lukaku’s Inter move and the Belgian international has trained at his former team Anderlecht for the past two days.
His agent, Federico Pastorello, was in London on Wednesday in an attempt to make things work for the 26-year-old.
The clubs had been some way apart in their valuation of the striker, with United wanting to recoup at least the £75m they paid Everton two years ago.
Inter and fellow Serie A side Juventus have been competing to sign the forward, who did not play in the Premier League club’s pre-season matches because of injury.
Inter manager Antonio Conte has previously confirmed the striker remains his number one target, saying: “I consider him a player who could improve our team.”
