If he stays,more trouble will come – Pedja Mijatovic on Bale’s Madrid battle

Gareth Bale on a few occasions,has had a hit from Pedja Mijatovic but this time the Welshman’s current situation at Real Madrid is seen from a new direction as Mijatovic told ‘El Larguero’ on Cadena SER.

Zinedine Zidane has been clear that Bale is not in his plans, but the former Tottenham Hotspur star has shown no desire to leave Los Blancos.

“If [Bale] stays, Madrid won’t have any problems,” Pedja Mijatovic told the show ‘El Larguero’ on Cadena SER.

“The one who is going to have problems is Bale.

“He isn’t in Zidane’s plans.”

In recent weeks, there have been reports linking Luka Modric with a move away from the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, but Pedja Mijatovic, who is close to the Croatian, has said that he’s going nowhere.

“He’s very happy at Real Madrid and, as a friend, I can say that he’s going to stay,” Mijatovic said.

“Luka cannot be put in any deal, he’s the [reigning] Ballon d’Or.”

Real Madrid has had a pre-season so far, but Zidane’s choice to switch to a three-man defense against Red Bull Salzburg provided more solidity to the team, having conceded 16 objectives in the five previous matches.

“I believe that Zidane is going to use the system with three centre-backs fairly regularly,” Mijatovic noted.

“Madrid will compete, gradually improving.

“However, the pre-season has been a little weird.”
