Atlético Madrid has officially announced their four new captains for the 2019/20 season. After Godin, the captain of last season, Griezmann, third in the line and Juanfran, the fourth, have left the team during the summer.
Atletico Madrid is renewing its captaincy quartet, where Koke is the new leader. Oblak is the second Slovenian goalkeeper, Giménez is third, and Saul is fourth.
From this course, Koke will be the new leader. He has played 415 games with the first team and aspires to finish his career as a player who wear the Rojiblancos shirt most (Adelardo’s record is 553). The Slovenian goalkeeper, Oblak, who faces his sixth season at the club, will be the second captain.
Giménez will act as the leader of the defense as his countryman Godin left the club, will have the role of third captain of Atlético. The Uruguayan arrived at Atletico only when he was 18 years old in 2013. And Saul is named the fourth captain for Atletico for season 2019/20.
