Manchester United want away forward,Alexis Sanchez is reportedly set to undergo a medical ahead of a loan move to Serie A side,Inter Milan on Tuesday,Sky Sports reports.
According to the report, Inter will pay half of his £505,000-a-week wage package with an option to trigger a £14m permanent deal for 30-year-old next summer.
This however, means United will still need to fork out over £250,000 every week while he plays in Italy.
The 30-year-old has been eager to make the switch across Europe this month having endured a disastrous time in Manchester since moving in January 2018 scoring just five times from 45 appearances.
Sanchez will join former team mate, Romelu Lukaku who earlier moved in with Antonio Conte this summer with the Italian coach ready to savour on his 3-5-2 formation..
Reports in Italy have already suggested Sanchez requested the vacant No7 jersey that Yann Karamoh had earlier worn now in Parma for loan.
The forward wore the same number at United and Arsenal and wants to continue in the same fashion.
Solskjaer had revealed that he planned to use the forward if he remained at the club.

“It’s these stories that he’s been put in the reserves – of course he hasn’t, he’s had three weeks now, he’s a few weeks behind the rest but close to being ready.
“We don’t have the biggest forward line in numbers, so Alexis might end up playing a lot more games than you expect, we expect him to come good at this club, he’s quality.”
