Italian club AC Milan are planning a new shift in management to land English Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino, according to reports by The Mirror.
According to the paper the Milan club owned by hedge fund Elliott Advisers will hand Pochettino a £300 million transfer war chest in order to convince him to make the switch.
Former Arsenal, man Ivan Gazidis believes the Spurs boss is the man to reassert Milan’s place in European football and build for title challenge next campaign.
However, it is hard to believe that Elliott Advisers having taken governments to court in order to settle their debts would be willing to sanction such a huge outlay, but perhaps they are trying a new method in order to build the club back up before they sell.
