Arsenal’s £15million opening bid for celtic star,Kieran Tierney has been rejected.
BBC reporter, David Ornstein, has confirmed Celtic rejected Arsenal’s £15 million opening bid for their left-back,Tierney rejected.
The deal is not totally struck out, rather pending when a better offer will be tabled as Personal terms between the Premier League club and the player is not a problem.
The 22-year-old Celtic academy product came through the club’s youth system his debut in April 2015 to make 170 appearances.
Despited missing many of the games due to a hip injury this season, Tierney has scored 8 times for the Hoops across all competitions.
He however, has 12 international caps to his name after making his debut for Scotland in 2016.
The deal is expected to come through when Arsenal are able to offload many names in their squad as they look to raise funds for transfers.
Both Laurent Koscielny and Nacho Monreal are both past their 30s and their fitness levels are not as good as before. As such, the North London club is actively searching for defensive reinforcements this summer.
