EPL: City set to offer Guardiola new five-year contract

Pep Guardiola will be handed a five-year deal that will see the Spanish manager earn around £100m if he accept to remain at Manchester City.

Guardiola 48-year-old has proven beyond measures to be one of the best managers in the world of football becoming the first manager in England to win three domestic titles in one season.

The Spaniard still has two years on his current deal but City are eager to tie him down for a further three with an improved contract, The Sun reports.

Last week, he said to be going nowhere when speculations spread he will leave.

‘I’m staying here two more seasons, if they want me. I’m satisfied working here and I’m not going anywhere.’

The former midfielder still has one big goal left to achieve when it comes to managing City, to win the Champions League.
