The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 708 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 708 new coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across 20 states and the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja.

As a result of this growth, the total number of infections in the country has now reached 157,671.

The announcement was made late last night on the health agency’s official website, as part of its regular update on new cases.

In the last 24 hours, about 12 people have died as a result of COVID-19 complications, according to the center.

With the latest deaths, the cumulative number of COVID-19 fatalities in Nigeria has now reached 1,951.

“708 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria,” according to the survey.
