Edo State: Ize-Iyamu open up on how he would end thuggery

Edo State All Progressives Congress candidate for governorship election, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has promised the state’s people that his administration will stop thuggery in the state.

Ize-Iyamu indicated that the transition can come to an end by providing jobs and rehabilitating youths with no skills and qualifications to reintegrate properly into society.

He claimed this while receiving defectors from the Ovia North East Local Government Area from the Peoples Democratic Party.

According to the candidate, good jobs, dedication, rehabilitation of young people can resolved thuggery.

“I don’t support thuggery and the oppression of our people; only government officials wearing uniforms will be permitted to collect taxes when voted into office.”

“We must look for jobs for the thugs in the motor parks and markets. You cannot solve one problem and create another problem in the long run.” He said.
