Chelsea plans to replace Sarri with Frank Lampard.

Chelsea are reportedly planning to replace manager Maurizio Sarri with clubs’ Legend Frank Lampard at the end of the season,Sport Mediaset says.

There’s a current issue of Sarri having divisive reign which has seen him in a ‘troubled relationship with Chelsea fans‘ and the club are keen to appoint a fan favourite, despite the Italian leading them to third place in the Premier League and two cup Finals.

Lampard scored 211 goals in 648 games for the Blues, winning three English titles and a Champions League.

The former England midfielder ventured into management last summer with Derby County and has made an immediate impact, qualifying them for the EFL Championship playoffs.
