Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, expects Manchester United to be a difficult test for the derby flavor.
On Sunday, Pep Guardiola’s People face their bitter rivals in the ever-tense Manchester Derby, as the top two teams in England’s league table.
City leads the table by an incredible 14 points, and Pep has set his sights on making it 17 points.
“I’m well aware of United’s difficulties. Every season, I have the impression that they are a better team. For more than a year, they haven’t lost away,” Pep told his club’s media.
“They always have good results here at Etihad Stadium, but we know we have a chance to extend our lead.
“There are 38 games in the Premier League, and this is one of them. They are clearly real competitors now, sitting second in the league.
The Premier League Manager of the Month for January ended the conversation by confirming a complete clean bill of health.
“Everyone is in good shape. It’s crucial for us, and we’re hoping that everyone recovers well during the international break.”
“Everyone understands the significance. The Spaniard concluded, “We will try to win the game.”
