Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has said that Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is being ‘infected by the disease of arrogance’ following his ‘very aggressive’ post-match interview after the win over Leicester.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Jordan felt that Klopp’s behaviour has changed since he delivered a trophy for the club, guiding them to Champions League glory earlier this year.
Klopp was particularly damning of young Leicester midfielder Hamza Choudhury following the match after he produced a challenge that forced Mohamed Salah off with an injury.
Simon Jordan, reflecting on the interview by the German, said: ‘Is he becoming infected by the disease of arrogance?’
‘I’ve noticed a slight change in Jurgen Klopp, in the language and robustness of his position. I thought his post-match interview was very brusque and irritable, and I know that journalists can drive you mad with ridiculous questions, in his explanation of Salah and what happened to him.
‘I didn’t see him complain about what Trent Alexander-Arnold had done to molest a player by dragging his studs down the back of his Achilles.
‘He was very aggressive and on the front foot about what happened to Salah.’
