Borussia Dortmund midfielder, Mario Gotze has said he has no intentions of leaving the Bundesliga club despite being linked with a shock move to Arsenal.
The midfielder still has a year left on his Dortmund deal, having inked a four-year deal in 2016 following three seasons with Bayern Munich.
Arsenal are looking for a replacement for Aaron Ramsey who is dancing to Juventus and have been linked with a number of players including Gotze.
But speaking with DAZN, Gotze revealed that nothing is important to him now than focusing on himself and reasonable performance;
“I always hear these rumors, they come up every year. Everyone has their value and the club has to decide who fits where. I have a year on my contract and I am comfortable in the Bundesliga.
“I am very relaxed, I wanted to play a reasonable season, contributing with my performances and focusing on myself was important for me.”
However,he may need to seek opportunity elsewhere as Julian Brandt and Thorgan Hazard will alter him being the first choice for Lucien Favre next season.
