Mourinho bags one-year prison sentence for tax fraud.

Manchester United former boss, Jose Mourinho accepted a one-year suspended prison sentence on Tuesday, to settle his tax fraud case.

Jose got convicted for evading payment of tax on image rights in 2011 and 2012 during his time at Real Madrid.

According to EL Pais, the former United boss pleaded guilty to the offense and accepted to pay £1.75m to the court in order to avert a jail term.

The 55-years old Portuguese  who is currently without a club after being sacked by Manchester United in December went to the Provincial Court on Tuesday to accept the sanction, Spanish medium reports.
