Sule Lamido, a former governor of Jigawa State, said on Monday that the All Progressives Congress, or APC, had split Nigeria.

Nigeria has seen more hatred and disunity in the last five years of the APC administration, according to Lamido.

He spoke at the inauguration of the Rumuji, Ibaa, Obelle Isokpo road in Rivers State’s Emouha Local Government Area.

The former governor insisted that the ruling party has “no vision and has been disintegrated.”

He said: “In the last five years of APC in government, Nigeria has become more divided.

“There is more hatred and disunity between the North and the South, the East and the West, Muslims and Christians, and there are larger and smaller problems.

“It’s all chaos and crisis from top to bottom. APC has fallen apart. Neither the north nor the south have a single employment.

“It should be our shared humanity that brings us together,” Lamido said.
