The All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate in the upcoming Edo State governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has been made a laughing stock on social media over a photoshoot with the ruling party ‘s former National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
SportyWap acknowledges the ridicule and criticism came after the microblogging site, Facebook, posted a picture of the Pastor completely dressed as an Imam.
On Thursday morning, August 13, Babasola Kuti, one of the Kuti family, took to his Twitter account to post a photo of the APC candidate with the caption âNa only election fit make pastor dress like Imam.â

Recall that Osagie Ize-Iyamu challenged the outgoing Edo State governor and the Democratic People’s Party nominee, Godwin Obaseki.
However, the above post has triggered a torrent of reactions on the bird app as Nigerians laughed at Ize-Iyamu, noticing that he mocked himself being dressed for political benefit like that.
According to Oghene-Hakuna Matata Gem stone [@echecks] who reacted to the post, former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio during his term was also turbaned and yet he lost the election.
âAkpabio was turbaned and yet he lost election in the state he governed for 8 years, they should tell Imam Pastor Andrew Osagie Ize-Iyamu to calm down he wonât be any different,â the social media user noted.
