Manchester United interim manager, Ole Gunnar has spoken on the health state of his men, Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard who both picked injuries during their Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.
United suffered a 2-0 defeat to PSG as Presnel Kimpembe and Kylian Mbappe gave the French champions a win at the Old Trafford.
As if that was not enough, they lose key players to injury when Lingard limped off the field before end of halftime, holding his hamstring as well as Martial who had Juan Mata came on in his place.
The duo who have recorded three goals and two assists since Solskjaer arrived Old Trafford may be out of squad as Solskjaer prepares for Monday night’s FA Cup fifth round clash with Chelsea.
“Lingard and Anthony give us something. They have muscle injuries.
“Let’s hope they’re not too serious. So we’ll just have to wait a couple of days to assess their fitness” Ole told reporters on Wednesday.
