Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri reveals why he didn’t speak to his players before penalty shootouts.
Sarri was not found at such an important moment where he needed to boost up the morals of the players going into the penalty shootout.
However, Sarri said he was superstitious and did not wish to walk into the pitch.
When asked why he was not in the huddle, Sarri told press;
”Because I don’t want to enter on the pitch.
“A superstition. [Laughs] I don’t need to talk to them. I spoke with Zola so they knew very well what to say.”
