Sportywap looks into latest transfer rumors ahead of summer tranfer window as Barca star, Ivan Rakitic rules out Chelsea move.
The play-maker says he is delighted to remain at Barcelona despite reports of being linked with a move to Chelsea.
Many clubs reportedly showed interest in signing the Croatian international, who played key role in helping his country reach final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
English Premier League big wig, Chelsea had earlier been the known club who showed up interest, while Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are also reported to seek his service, but Ivan Rakitic says he is happy at the Nou Camp.
‘Since I’ve been here I do not know how many times I’ve left and I’m back,’ said the Croat after his side’s recent Copa del Rey victory over Sevilla. ‘I’m more than happy here and my intention is to be here longer. ‘The other day I gave the president a little nudge to see if he would start my renewal.’
Again his agent, Arturo Canales, also said possibility of the midfielder leaving in the summer is not realistic. “Ivan leaves Spain in the summer’? It’s an impossible scenario,’ he said.
