Real Madrid has signed Olympique Lyon defender,Ferland Mendy on a six-year deal just few hours after presenting Luka Jovic on Wednesday.
After Didier Deschamps confirmed the player will move away on Monday morning during a press briefing, Real Madrid has decided to announce the deal that will see Ferland Mendy joining Los Blancos this summer as they rebuild their squad ahead 2019-20 campaign.
The 24-year-old has put pen to paper to a six-year deal, which means he will stay with the club until the end of the 2024-25 season.
He will be unveiled at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium next Wednesday, according to the press release issued by the club on their website.
Although the amount is not mention,an earlier reports by Marca had suggested that Real Madrid will pay Olympique Lyon around $54M for the player’ services, with an extra $5.6M being paid to the French side in add-ons.
