Real Madrid have decided to drop interest in Tottenham’s striker Christian Eriksen in order to sign Manchester United’s midfielder Paul Pogba,Marca reports.
Boss Zinedine Zidane, had demanded the Los Blancos to sign Pogba this summer but the club’s president, Florentino Perez, insisted on getting Eriksen instead.
But according to the latest report from Marca, the Spanish club have now agreed to go for Pogba instead of Eriksen.
The report also claimed that Man United will demand a fee of £133.5 million for the 26-year-old former Juventus star.
Zidane had earlier said Pogba can join the club if he triggers the move himself by submitting a transfer request after the France 2018 world Cup winner claimed Real Madrid to be a dream for every player’.
”If when his experience at United is over and he [Pogba] wants to come why would he not come to Madrid?” Zidane had said in May.
