Sokratis Papastathopoulos will be out of Arsenal squad on suspension as they travel to Watford to fight for a top-four spot on Monday.
The Greece international was shown a 10th booking of the campaign in the defeat to Everton last weekend and where he picked up a two-game ban as a result.
Hopefully, Granit Xhaka has recovered from a groin injury and is fit enough to be involved as long-term injury absentees Danny Welbeck, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin are still missing.
Although Arsenal‘s away form has been poor to say the least, boss Unai Emery is happy with the position they find themselves in at this stage of the season.
”Each match gives us a big challenge for the possibility to improve and take three points and the possibility to end the season in the top four,’ the Spaniard said.
”For us that would be a big success.
”When we started last in the table after the first two matches in the season we were thinking about arriving in this moment with the possibility of being in the top four in our hands, Emery said.
