On Tuesday, the Nigerian Youths Movement for Tinubu (NYMT) urged Bola Tinubu, to run for president in 2023.
Tinubu, according to the group, is the ideal candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
Mukhtar Mukhtar, NYMT’s Director General, told reporters in Abuja that he has served as a rallying point for the country’s progressives.
NAN reports that the North-West coordinator, Mustapha Abdrahman, urged the former Lagos State Governor to run.
He described Tinubu as a political phenomenon, an astute administrator and successful businessman.
“Tinubu has been a vanguard of true federalism and national integration even as he pays attention to the development of our dear nation. Asiwaju possesses undeniable passion for Nigeria.
Senator Abu Ibrahim of Katsina South in the 8th National Assembly praised Tinubu’s contributions to the party’s progress.
Ibrahim, who was portrayed by Mustapha Ahmed-Ibrahim, his Chief of Staff, claimed that Nigerian youths would vote for Tinubu for president.
