In a preparation to build up ahead of next campaign, Real Madrid are reportedly putting an eye on Manchester United’s defender,Eric Bailly at a transfer fee of £35m to land him in Spain this summer.
The Sun reports that the Ivorian is ready to move away when the transfer window opens having lost his place in the United first-team due to series of injuries.
Real Madrid have Bailly high up the list of potential defenders to make their reinforcements after they failed sign him when he moved to United from Villarreal in 2016.
Bailly still has 15 more months left of his contract at Old Trafford and the club has no discussions for extension with a recent reports he is among six players to exit United this summer.
Eric Bailly, 24-year-old has started just 13 games in all competitions this season and may likely not be fit to play against Barcelona in their Champions League quarter-final tie.
However,Ole Gunnar may use Real’s interest in him to propose a player-plus-cash deal to sign Raphael Varane to build up his side.
